Comiri

A Spiritual Commons is a spiritual development community. Taking part is free. A Guest can read and explore, a free account makes you a Participant, and affirming The Commitments makes you a Member. Membership is free and comes only from affirming The Commitments. Payment never creates Membership, belonging, or standing of any kind.

Content

The texts in the Library are public domain sources, presented in their own words with their sources named. Teachings and other Commons writing are drafted with AI and reviewed by people. Quotations are exact and carry their source; summaries are labeled as summaries.

Artificial intelligence

AI may be used to assist with research and site functions, including Ask the Commons, which draws on the Commons Library and links back to the sources it uses.

The Commons App and Giving

The Commons App is a separate, optional paid product. Buying it does not create Membership and changes nothing about how a person belongs here. Giving is voluntary support of Comiri and creates no Member or App access. Payments and gifts are processed by Stripe. Subscription receipts state: "This payment is for digital services and is not a charitable contribution." Donation receipts state: "No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution."

Conduct

Members take part under a chosen name and treat one another as the Commitments describe. Posts in Conversations and Shared Intentions pass a safety check before ordinary visibility, and content flagged for crisis is reviewed by a person. Private messages in Connect can be reported to the founder, and any Member can block another. Comiri does not tolerate harassment or harm, and may remove content or end an account's participation to protect people.
